Information for New Scouts and their Families -
Welcome to Pack 130!

General Information:

Please note that an adult leader needs to be with each scout at all activities.  The adult partner, in Cub Scouting, is known as Akela (meaning "good leader") and can be any parent, grandparent, or legal guardian.

Our Cub Scout Pack is a parent-run, "family-participation" organization.  We encourage parents to assist in the planning and activities for their dens.  Den leaders will periodically ask parents to contribute to achievement or elective-earning activities - doing this gives the boys a broader experience and lets everyone participate!

Pack 130 is led by a committee that oversees/plans our entire pack's activities.  It meets on the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-8:00PM at ORUMC.  All parents are invited to attend!

Items you will need to purchase if you decide to join our pack:

UniformShirt - buy a bigger size so it can be worn for several years
Scarf & Slide - appropriate for den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos)
Belt & Buckle - blue; generic buckle will last you all 5 years
Hat - appropriate for den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos)
 Patches

Old North State Council Strip

Numbers for Pack 130 - "1", "3", "0"
